Karra grew up in Selah, Washington. All her life she's been an outdoor enthusiast; hiking, backpacking, and mountain climbing. In 2015 she thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail where she met her husband Ram. They live in Ellensburg, Washington with their dog Cooper.
Because of her passion for health and fitness in 2018, she became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. What she learned has been an asset in her pursuit of physically challenging hobbies such as running half marathons, hiking long distances, and mountain climbing.
Karra's yoga path started in 2015. Yoga has been such a blessing to her life. Especially during challenging periods, it brought her back to a calm and centered place within; connecting back to her highest self. For years she thought “I'll do a yoga teacher training someday”. Yoga was a natural progression with a personal history in martial arts, fitness, and meditation. In 2021 everything fell into place, externally and internally, revealing the perfect circumstances for teacher training. She did her 200 hr teacher training at Blue Osa in Costa Rica. Blue Osa's teacher training included philosophy from the Himalayan Tradition of Yoga, which combines Patanjali's Yoga Sutras with a long history of yoga masters. The training included lineages such as Hatha, Iyengar, Tantra, Vinyasa, and Kundalini.
Through yoga she hopes to create a space where you can connect to your highest self; find clarity, balance, and inner peace.
