As a busy mom of 2 young kids and a nurse in the city, I found myself struggling to feel grounded. I found yoga when I friend brought me to a yin yoga class and I was instantly hooked. It was the first time I was able to slow down and calm my "monkey" mind since having children. Yoga became a daily practice for me to create time and space for myself and I began to build strength and flexibility that I had never been able to achieve working out at the gym. In 2017, I completed my E-RYT 200 with the Devoted Yogi, Jenna McDonald, on Bainbridge Island. As a lifelong student, I continue to take intensives/workshops so that I can continue to bring a fresh and new perspective in how I teach.
While trained in Ashtanga yoga, my style is Vinyasa with a focus on strength building and core work. My hope is that each student will leave class feeling stronger, more relaxed and balanced.
